Welcome Tae MacApple Hall

Let me introduce myself- I am MacBraveheart of MacApple Hall.

This site is dedicated to the events of the 15th of April 2002 on the Maxis Sims Site. Macintosh players of this most excellent game were given their own official BBS forum to share and discuss issues which sometimes occur in Sim Game Play.

On this here site you will see the rantings and ravings of me in the form of Albums, downloads of skins and walls and such and the more interesting, to Maccies, links to tools of the trade and most excellent sites.

We also have a Yahoo site for anyone to upload to and to share their work. This has been useful when needing to let others see files for testing or help: MacAppleHall @ YAHOO.

Further I have set up an off topic Sims related site (double Dutch or what?!?!) called The Guid Morrow Club for those who miss the heady mix of OT banter- you are all most welcome!

It all began one Spring a looooong time ago- I had a fever and I hallucinated... And I saw the BBSers of the MacBBS on Maxis! (click the McB Crest if you have time and space to download and hear a bit of McScotland). The rest is rather long-winded history!

Mwuahahahahahahaha!

I am also dead chuffed to announce that I have been nominated a Sim Saint at Fantasims and that is what the wee flashing button on the left is about. Click on it for my "certification". The award is here.

Long live MacApple Hall and all who sail in her!

The Albums

The early history of the MacBBS and the efforts of the MacWarriors are charted in these fine (and looong) epistles.

Read them for mind-boggling and sleep inducing melodrama.

They will give you an idea what went down that year and what fun it is to be a Mac user. Now also available as Exchange uploaded albums on my SimPage @ Maxis (click to be "teleported" there!).

Read THESE for a laugh

IFFSnooper

Peter so kindly allowed me to host this most excellent tool for Maccies aspiring to the heights of TMog users. Download it and experience the world of object and wall making for the Sims on your very own Mac.

How cool is that?!?!?!?!?!

Please note that he is constantly striving to improve the tool and you may need to check back for updated versions in due course.

Houses

Never really intended to be more than a laugh I still get a kick out of designing house for those who ask.

The older ones are housed (hehe- pun intended) at the older site-Koromo of Persimmon Grove fame built it for me:

Skins and "Stuff"

Yeah- well.... What can I say? Some skins, some walls and stuff.

All to match the themes I use. And obviously Scottish for the best part.

I skin with Photoshop and I make walls and floors with IFFSnooper.
